Planning for the 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is well underway, with promoter Ethara building on the momentum of a record-breaking 2025 event. The event takes place December 3-6, with preparations ramping up across every area of the programme.

Ticket sales are already running 30 per cent ahead of where they were at this point last year, reflecting the appetite from fans who witnessed one of the most memorable Grand Prix weekends in the event's history.

In 2025, Abu Dhabi hosted the championship decider, crowned a new world champion in McLaren's Lando Norris, and delivered the biggest entertainment programme in the race's history.

"[2025] was the biggest event we've ever held in Abu Dhabi," said David Powell, Chief Portfolio and Strategy Officer at Ethara. "We had record attendances. We had record visitation from international markets. And we had the most amazing entertainment lineup, which is what the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is known for."

That performance earned Ethara the F1 Promoter of the Year award for delivering the best all-around F1 event of the season - the first time the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has received the sport's top accolade.

The 2026 edition is on course to be equally impressive. Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson are confirmed to perform on Thursday, 3 December, with further artist announcements and the full Yasalam entertainment programme to be revealed in the coming months.

" Formula One has been transformed into one of the most popular sports in the world," said Powell. “And fans know that in Abu Dhabi we deliver an extraordinary experience - concerts, fantastic hospitality, city experiences. There's a lot of trust in what we can deliver."
Tickets are on sale now. With demand running well ahead of last year, early booking is strongly advised.
